This interview with Greg Greffin of 24 Karat Rose is #4 in our 45 Exhibitors in 45 Days spotlight of vendors attending the NFDA Convention in Vegas:
FINAL EMBRACE: Greg, what is a 24 Karat Rose?
GREG: It’s a real rose, grown right here in America, that’s dipped in gold to preserve it.
FE: Do you just sell gold roses?
GREG: No, we have a full range of colors. Our color-lacquered roses are trimmed in gold.
FE: How do funeral directors use 24 Karat Roses?
GREG: Besides selling it outright to the family, many directors leave one on the pillow after a house removal. There’s also a “rose ceremony” that can be performed, where the rose is placed in the casket spray before the service, then removed and presented to the family at the gravesite, similar to presenting a U.S. Flag.
FE: Where are you located?
GREG: 24 Karat Rose is affiliated with our jewelry business, Greffin Jewelers, which is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota and was founded in 1974.
FE: How can Final Embrace readers reach you?
GREG: At the NFDA Convention we’ll be in booth #993. We can be reached by phone at 1-800-843-8131 or email at ggreffin@24karatrose.com.
